In 2024, Pastors Antonio and Tiya Owens felt the call of God to plant a church in Tampa, Florida, with a vision to see people passionately pursue God and live out their God-given purpose. Leaving behind comfort and stepping out in faith, they began with a small core team and a big dream — to build a life-giving church that would become a home for people from all walks of life.

Starting with just a handful of people gathered in homes and coffee shops, they prayed, planned, and believed for God to do something extraordinary in the city. As the vision grew, so did the conviction to plant a church that would reflect the beauty and diversity of Tampa, a church where lives are transformed, families are strengthened, and leaders are raised up to impact their communities.

In January 2026, Pursuit Nation Church will officially launch, creating a space where passionate worship, practical and powerful preaching, and authentic community collide. From Tampa and beyond, the mission remains the same — to help people pursue God wholeheartedly and empower them to fulfill their purpose.
